Iran's ambassador has announced that the preliminary estimation of war damages sustained by Iran amounts to $300 billion.
Ambassador Shirgholami noted that the existing potential in the region is sufficient to transform Armenia into an energy transit hub.
He expressed regret that the establishment of the Armenian-Iranian chamber was not successful due to economic disagreements between the parties.
Iran, for its part, is pursuing steps to conclude a strategic partnership.
