An Istanbul criminal court has decided to issue an international arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The court has requested an Interpol Red Notice for him and 34 other high-ranking officials.

This move is linked to the case of the "Sumud" humanitarian flotilla. The Israeli officials are accused of a series of grave crimes, including genocide, crimes against humanity, cruel treatment, and looting. The Istanbul Prosecutor's Office is seeking life imprisonment for them.
