NVIDIA VP: Armenia and Kazakhstan can become regional AI hubs

At the AI & Digital Bridge conference held in Astana, NVIDIA Vice President Rev Lebaredian stated that Armenia and Kazakhstan can become regional hub centers in the field of artificial intelligence, bringing together specialists, computing power, and technology business.

According to Lebaredian, three components are necessary for this: computing infrastructure, specialists with the skills to work with it, and entrepreneurs.

"Combine these three components, and small teams will be able to create products for the whole world."

As an example, he cited Higgsfield AI and Firebird AI. According to him, Firebird AI, Kazakhtelecom, and Data Center Valley Kazakhstan are creating computing infrastructure that will enable the emergence of new global companies.

This statement is important because Armenia is being considered not as an ordinary consumer market, but as a regional hub—a platform uniting specialists, computing power, and business. This implies that competition in the field of artificial intelligence in the region is gradually shifting to the level not of individual companies, but of entire ecosystems.

It is noteworthy that Higgsfield AI and Firebird AI are cited as examples, as well as the computing infrastructure being created in Kazakhstan. This suggests that the formation of such centers is possible not only in large economies, but also in smaller countries, if the necessary components are present.

For Armenia, the main question remains the extent to which these three components are actually available—especially in terms of computing infrastructure and professional skills.
