Scientists at Harvard University have developed a “multicolor electron microscopy” technology that combines the structural detail of electron microscopy with the ability to label molecules using fluorescence microscopy.
The method makes it possible to simultaneously visualize cell structures and the locations of specific proteins at nanometer resolution.
