The National Assembly approved the draft law "On Amendments to the Law on the Flag of the Republic of Armenia" with 63 votes in favor. This decision mandates that the Armenian flag will be displayed at the main entrances of all settlements in Armenia.
The draft was introduced by Civil Contract Faction MPs Alkhaz Ghazaryan and National Assembly President Alen Simonyan.
The authors noted that the amendments to the law are aimed at enhancing national identity.
