Factor — UFC lightweight contender Arman Tsarukyan, currently ranked second, defeated Indian fitness blogger Ankit Baiyanpuria during the Hype tournament held in Yerevan. The match was conducted under grappling rules, meaning the athletes were prohibited from striking, and victory could only be achieved by forcing the opponent to submit.
During the match, Tsarukyan executed a skillful submission hold, forcing the Indian blogger to tap out. It took the Armenian fighter only 2 minutes and 30 seconds to secure the win. It is worth noting that this was not Tsarukyan’s first such experience in Yerevan. Back on December 31 of last year, he participated in a grappling match against fellow UFC fighter Shara Bullet (Sharabutdin Magomedov), which ended in a draw.
