Aram Vardevanyan, an MP from the "Strong Armenia" faction of the National Assembly, has been elected Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly. During the vote held in parliament, 53 MPs voted in favor of his candidacy, with no votes against.
Notably, MPs Vahagn Aleksanyan and Hayk Konjoryan from the "Civil Contract" faction were also recently elected to the positions of parliamentary vice speakers.
