Former French national team midfielder Emmanuel Petit believes that one of France's national team players will win the Ballon d'Or.
According to the expert, forwards Kylian Mbappé (Real Madrid), Ousmane Dembélé (PSG), and Michael Olise (Bayern Munich) are the main contenders for the prestigious individual award.
"I think we have a potential Ballon d'Or winner. Currently, there are three players in the French national team who have the opportunity to win this award: Mbappé, Dembélé, and Olise," RMC Sport quoted Petit as saying.
The Ballon d'Or ceremony will take place on October 26 and, for the first time in history, will be held in London. The current holder of this award is Ousmane Dembélé.
