Factor — Police in Yerevan's Nor Nork administrative district are searching for 14-year-old Vahe Apikyan, who left his home on the morning of July 29 and has not returned. The teenager, who serves as an acolyte at St. Sargis Church, took only his clerical vestments with him, leaving behind a note expressing his desire to renounce secular life and become a hermit.
Family members and loved ones suspect the teenager may be visiting various churches to pray, and they are urging citizens to stay alert and look after the minor if spotted. Vahe’s relatives hope that with public assistance, they will quickly locate the teenager and bring him home; they have provided contact details for anyone with information.
