Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has sent congratulatory messages to U.S. President Donald Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance on the occasion of Independence Day. This year marks the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States.
In his message to President Trump, Pashinyan congratulated the American people on Independence Day, emphasizing the vitality of the values of freedom and independence on which the U.S. was founded. He noted that the U.S. plays a pivotal role in international relations.
The Prime Minister underscored the long-standing friendship and common interests between Armenia and the U.S. He highlighted Trump’s leadership in the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Pashinyan referred to the “Trump's Path to International Peace and Prosperity” project and the Peace Council, of which Armenia is a founding member. This attests to the shared vision of peace between Armenia and the U.S.
The Prime Minister expressed satisfaction with the new content of the comprehensive strategic partnership forged between Armenia and the U.S. He voiced confidence that the implementation of the joint agenda will strengthen bilateral relations for the benefit of both peoples.
In his message to Vice President Vance, Pashinyan congratulated the U.S. on its 250th anniversary of independence, valuing the ideals of freedom and independence. He emphasized the U.S. contribution to international peace and security.
The Prime Minister warmly recalled Vance’s visit to Armenia in February, which was crucial for deepening and strengthening the partnership. The visit stimulated cooperation in economic, energy, defense, and other sectors, and also served as a testament to high-level political dialogue and mutual trust.
