The Prosecutor General's Office has announced that 76.8 million AMD will be confiscated from former Yerevan Mayor Gagik Beglaryan. This amount represents compensation for damages caused to the municipality.

In September 2025, the Prosecutor's Office filed a lawsuit with the Anti-Corruption Court, demanding compensation for the 76 million 822 thousand AMD in damages inflicted upon the community. The Anti-Corruption Court accepted the claim for proceedings that same month.

The court also granted a motion filed by the prosecutor, resulting in the attachment of property belonging to Gagik Beglaryan. The seizure was applied in the amount of the claim, specifically 76 million 822 thousand AMD.

The lawsuit was based on facts established during one of the criminal proceedings.

On July 7, 2026, the Anti-Corruption Court issued its verdict, fully granting the prosecution's claim. Once the ruling enters into legal force, the funds will be transferred to the Yerevan municipal budget.
