CNN — Russia and China are assisting Iran in various ways amid its military conflict with the United States, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth stated in the U.S. Senate.
According to Hegseth, this support is being provided at different levels. He noted that the U.S. possesses the means to deter Iranian activity, though the details remain classified.
Senator John Hoeven asked Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Dan Cain whether Russia and China are assisting Iran. The general declined to discuss the matter in an open session.
