Police officers from the Ministry of Internal Affairs continue special measures across the republic aimed at maintaining public order and ensuring citizen safety.
Officers conducted patrols in gathering places of various settlements, and as a result of inspection measures, 87 individuals who had previously been convicted or have criminal tendencies were identified and presented to territorial divisions of community police.
Additionally, during the special measures, police also discovered narcotics, cannabis bushes, knives, and weapons and ammunition.
The operational-preventive measures carried out by the MIA police are periodic in nature.
These measures are, of course, periodic, but the simultaneous identification and referral of 87 individuals to police stations is a fairly large figure. This indicates that the situation in some communities remains tense, and the police are attempting to prevent possible violations.
It is interesting that during the inspections, not only weapons and knives were found, but also narcotics and cannabis bushes. This means that many of these individuals may be linked to more serious crimes, and the police's work is not yet complete. In the coming days, we will likely learn how many of those presented managed to avoid liability and how effective these measures have been.
