Trump: ‘I Would Be the Best Communist,’ Standing Next to Lenin

US President Donald Trump has stated that he would be "the best communist in the world," standing alongside Vladimir Lenin. He made these remarks during a press conference held as part of the NATO summit in Turkey.

Trump explained that the ideas of communism are easy to "sell" because it promises free housing, food, and other benefits.

"I want to make my point clear, because what is taking shape in the country right now is communism, and communism is easy to sell. I would be the greatest communist in history. I would stand right next to Lenin," the US President declared.

The American president also noted the growing "communist threat" in the US. He has repeatedly emphasized his ability to "sell" ideas, thereby ironically highlighting that he could have become the greatest communist in history.

In late June, Trump called communism the main threat to the US after the September 11 terrorist attacks. He accused radical leftists of seeking to change the traditional American way of life, including attitudes towards religion and social values.
