A court in the Stavropol Territory has sentenced a 56-year-old woman to 9 years in prison for the murder of her husband, the Investigative Committee of Russia reports.
The incident took place on March 8. The couple had been drinking alcohol at home when an argument broke out. In a fit of rage, the woman stabbed her husband in the back with a knife and pushed him. The 58-year-old man struck his head on the corner of a table and died.
To conceal the crime, the woman dismembered the body. She placed the remains in bags and took a taxi to the city of Nevinnomyssk, where she dumped the body parts into the Kuban River and other locations.
On April 5, teenagers found three bags containing human remains along the riverbank. They immediately notified the police.
