Armenian national team captain Eduard Spertsyan has made a successful debut for Saudi club Al-Ahli, scoring a goal in his very first appearance.
Al-Ahli played a friendly match in Austria against local side Pinzgau Saalfelden. The Saudi club secured a commanding 8-0 victory.
The 26-year-old Armenian midfielder started the match and opened the scoring in the 29th minute.
As a reminder, Spertsyan joined Al-Ahli on July 7, having previously played for Russian club Krasnodar. The player has signed a four-year contract with his new club.
