The international platform "TasteAtlas" has published its list of countries with the world's best cuisines. This was reported by 168.am. The study includes 100 countries.
The ranking is led by Italy, Greece, and Peru. Turkey secured the 7th position. Other neighboring and regional countries were also included in the list: Georgia is 21st, Russia 28th, Azerbaijan 67th, and Armenia 87th.
Experts highlighted several specific dishes in Turkish cuisine. Among them are Antep pistachios, piliç topkapı, döner, and fried calamari. The traditional Turkish breakfast also received special attention.
