News.am — The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has officially announced that it has attacked an Amazon data center in Bahrain, with Iran's state television spreading the news yesterday, citing the military entity.
The IRGC claims the facility was completely destroyed because it was allegedly used to gather intelligence in the interest of the United States. However, Amazon and Bahraini authorities have yet to issue any official comment on the Iranian side's statement.
It is worth noting that this is not the first time the IRGC has reported striking this facility, as a similar announcement was made as early as Wednesday, though details were scarce at the time. Official responses from the parties involved are still awaited.
