Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is giving a briefing amid raids and arrests. This became known via a live broadcast.

According to the published information, during the briefing Pashinyan also touched upon other topics. He noted that we should build more roads, but they must serve their purpose. The prime minister also spoke about pensioners: "They have told a person so many times that you are a pensioner, a pensioner, that they no longer want to engage in business."

Pashinyan also raised the topic of artificial intelligence: "We communicate with AI, but we don't know who is on the other side, roughly speaking, we will find out later."

At the same time, discussions of the 2027 budget continue in the National Assembly, in which CP ministers are also participating. In this context, other statements were also made. Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan spoke about the issue of prisoners, noting that it is not a financial one, and that, unfortunately, financial problems are easier to solve. He also addressed the issue of salaries of diplomat spouses: "One of two diplomat spouses was receiving a salary at 50 percent, are they to blame for falling in love and getting married?"

MP Vardanyan also asked Mirzoyan a question, inquiring what had happened after the elections that Hajiyev had visited Armenia.

Arman Abovyan made a separate statement, noting that a legal precondition is being created for the dismantling of Armenia. Gagik Tsarukyan's defense attorney stated that the latter's detention cannot be justified: "This is how it had to be, this is how it happened."

During the day, an incident in Yerevan also became known: a 5-year-old boy accidentally fell from the window of the 3rd floor of their home and died. In another case, near the city hall, an ambulance from one of the regions and a BMW collided, there is an injured person.

Other news includes the strengthening of cooperation between Syria and Saudi Arabia, the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between Ucom and the Employers' Union, the temporary suspension of operations at two checkpoints at the "Garegin Nzhdeh" station, as well as the launch of FLYONE ARMENIA's Yerevan-Berlin-Yerevan flights.

It is noteworthy that the prime minister's briefing coincided with the discussion of the 2027 budget in the National Assembly, where CP ministers are present. It was against this backdrop that statements were made about the issue of prisoners, the salaries of diplomat spouses, and the "dismantling" of Armenia.

It is difficult for the reader to unambiguously imagine whether these statements are part of one common agenda or are separate topics that simply coincided in time. It is also not yet clear how the backdrop of raids and arrests will affect the further course of the budget discussions.

One thing is clear: the agenda is full, and in the coming days the real consequences of these statements will probably become clear.
