Armenian wrestlers have begun their campaign at the U17 World Wrestling Championships, which kicked off in Baku.
Freestyle wrestler Erik Papikyan (65 kg) claimed a brilliant victory in his opening bout, defeating Azerbaijan's Rashid Nazarov with a score of 9-1.
Papikyan demonstrated confident technique to build his lead, leaving his opponent no chance to shift the momentum of the match.
