Police Return Lost Cash and Wallets to Citizens

Officers from the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Police Guard have distinguished themselves in recent days through diligent work, helping citizens recover their lost property. The discovery of $3,600 at a shopping center, which was promptly returned to its owner, was the result of the officers' swift response and thorough inspection efforts.

A similar incident was recorded in one of the capital's parks. There, a Guard officer found a wallet containing 127,000 drams and bank cards, which was also successfully returned to its rightful owner. Upon receiving their belongings, the citizens called the 112 operational management center to express their gratitude to the officers.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasizes that while maintaining public order and ensuring safety are the primary functions of the Guard, being present and supportive of citizens is an integral part of this service. These incidents demonstrate that the system does not only focus on law enforcement but is also constantly prepared to provide necessary assistance to the public.

Such incidents increase trust in the work of the Police Guard, as citizens see individual officers responding to their problems. This sense of responsibility creates a solid foundation for the further strengthening of public security and solidarity.

These police actions show that the daily work of Guard officers extends beyond the mere maintenance of public order. This raises the question: to what extent do we, as citizens, notice this role of the police when everything is running smoothly?

We often pay attention to the police only in cases of problems or mistakes, but events like these restore the human connection between the service and society. It remains to be seen whether such an approach will become a standard practice or remain an isolated positive example.
