On August 13, an unusual case of rowdy behavior was recorded in Yerevan when, at around 09:15 AM, the line division of Zvartnots Airport received an alert regarding a heated argument taking place near the office of the "Visa Concord" airline.
An operational group immediately arrived at the scene, where it was established that a group of citizens had grossly violated public order and, through mutual insults and blows, completely disrupted the normal operation of the offices.
On reasonable suspicion of committing disorderly conduct, police officers detained and transferred four residents of Yerevan to the department: 41-year-old Lilit M., 19-year-old Ilene H., 39-year-old Nelly M., and 25-year-old Diana H., the last of whom is a representative of the mentioned airline.
This incident demonstrates how domestic or work-related tensions can quickly escalate into a violation of public order, even in such a crowded place as an international airport. Notably, one of the participants was a representative of the airline in question, making the situation even more remarkable. All circumstances and legal consequences of the incident will become clear in the near future.
