During the NVIDIA GTC 2026 conference in Berlin, the company's founder and CEO Jensen Huang spoke about the development of artificial intelligence infrastructure, specifically mentioning Firebird as an entity building a new cloud platform in Central Asia. A Firebird delegation attending the conference followed the event, where the company's name appeared in the "Neoclouds" section of the presentation alongside CoreWeave and other similar leaders.

Armenia has already launched its first artificial intelligence factory, equipped with 6,144 graphics processors from NVIDIA's Blackwell B200 series, and future expansion plans envision deploying NVIDIA Vera Rubin systems as well, bringing the total number of GPUs to around 70,000. At the same time, the company is developing similar infrastructure in Kazakhstan and exploring opportunities to implement projects in Nepal. These initiatives significantly contribute to strengthening Armenia's position on the global technology map, opening new opportunities for local specialists.

The launch of this project is an important turning point for the local technology environment, as computing power of this scale is typically available only to global technology giants. The deployment of NVIDIA Blackwell systems in Armenia not only changes the country's position on the regional map but also enables local engineers and researchers to work with the most complex artificial intelligence models without leaving the country.

On the other hand, maintaining infrastructure of this scale requires appropriate energy and human resources, which means that success will largely depend on the pace of further expansion and the development of professional potential on the ground.
