Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has announced that the Araratcement plant will soon transition to state management. The government intends to appoint an interim manager. The Prime Minister emphasized that all actions must remain within the framework of the law, noting that rulings on the confiscation of illicit assets are now coming into effect.

Pashinyan cited the example of the Zangezur Copper and Molybdenum Combine. He had previously warned that officials acting on outside orders would be dismissed; those individuals were subsequently fired or prosecuted. The Prime Minister urged Araratcement employees not to get involved in illegal activities, warning that those applying pressure will be dismissed.

Factory employees held a protest, expressing concerns about their future and loan obligations. For the fourth consecutive day, the factory gates have been sealed, and the workers remain on forced leave.

The employees opened the gates themselves and entered the plant. They stated that they are prepared to accept a government manager, but insisted on the continuation of operations. They expressed a desire not to be harmed by the ongoing process.
