News.am — The Armed Forces of Ukraine launched strikes on the night of July 22 against facilities of the Miratorg agro-holding located in the Klimovsky district of the Bryansk region.

As a result of the shelling, production buildings at one of the enterprises were damaged and a fire broke out, the company's press service reported, noting that significant damage was caused but there were no casualties. During an attack on another facility, a security employee was injured by debris from an unmanned aerial vehicle, and a truck being unloaded at the pig farming complex was put out of commission, although the driver was unharmed.

This is the second attack on the same company, as other Miratorg enterprises in the Bryansk region were also targeted the day before, on July 21, resulting in damage to several production buildings and the destruction of two heavy-duty trucks. The company, which is Russia's largest producer of pork and beef and whose owners, the Linnik brothers, are connected to Dmitry Medvedev's wife, produces 30 tons of products daily and supplies them across the entire country.

These operations took place immediately following attacks on the logistics centers of the Wildberries online platform. Strikes on warehouses in Tambov, Moscow, Krasnodar, and Nevinnomyssk on July 18 and 22 resulted in fatalities and dozens of injuries, while residents were advised to wear respiratory masks due to the fires. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that the strikes on the Russian trading platform's facilities constitute "long-range sanctions," as they were involved in supplying the army with drones and equipment.

Recall that on June 25, Zelenskyy confirmed a "40-day impact operation" against Russia aimed at stopping the war, although he did not specify its exact content.
