Factor — The National Assembly session continues in a highly tense atmosphere. A heated debate erupted between "Armenia" faction MP Mesrop Manukyan and presiding officer Ruben Rubinyan, which escalated into personal remarks.
Manukyan demanded a clear answer to a question previously posed by Ishkhan Saghatelyan: is Tigranashen territory of the Republic of Armenia? Rubinyan refused to answer with a simple “yes” or “no,” insisting that he had already provided an exhaustive response. He reaffirmed the government’s position that Armenia’s sovereign territory encompasses 29,743 square kilometers. Rubinyan further added that the issue of enclaves must be addressed within the framework of border demarcation commissions, noting that there is a mutual understanding on the matter with the Azerbaijani side.
The discussion reached a critical point when Rubinyan addressed Manukyan, urging him not to point his hand in his direction, describing such behavior as unacceptable.
