Eduard Hakobyan, Chairman of Armenia’s State Revenue Committee (SRC), met with approximately 300 entrepreneurs on the final day of the Mantashyants Global Business Forum 2026 in Dilijan. Hakobyan presented the SRC's operational results, ongoing and upcoming reforms, and answered questions from members of the Mantashyants Business Club.

Now in its fifth year, the Mantashyants Global Business Forum this year brought together over 1,000 participants from nearly 30 countries worldwide, serving as a crucial platform for cooperation and experience exchange.

Hakobyan detailed the cultural transformation underway at the SRC, emphasizing that the committee's vision is built upon constant and honest dialogue with businesses. He noted that such meetings are the most effective way to understand the real problems faced by businesses and taxpayers, listen to their proposals, and collaboratively find solutions.

The SRC chairman highlighted that this marked the first time an SRC chairman was hosted by a business club in such an open format to discuss pressing industry issues face-to-face and answer entrepreneurs' questions.

During the discussion, topics included tax administration, turnover tax thresholds, value-added tax, tax regimes applied in various sectors, as well as the specifics of the construction, consulting services, and other industries.
