During the investigative proceedings, animals kept at a private residence were relocated to the Zoo upon the proposal of the Yerevan Municipality, as reported by the Yerevan City Hall.

“The animals will be under the supervision and care of specialists,” the statement reads.

Large-scale searches carried out at Gagik Tsarukyan’s private residence and companies of the “Multi Group” concern, including “Araratcement,” the “Ararat” Brandy Factory, “Multi Stone,” Olimpavan, and the National Olympic Committee of Armenia, have concluded. The aforementioned premises have been sealed, and the director of “Multi Stone” has been summoned for questioning.

Law enforcement officers are conducting simultaneous operations at over 70 addresses, with official details to be released at a later time. According to Tsarukyan’s spokesperson, Iveta Tonoyan, the charges to be brought and the legal status of the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) leader are still being clarified.

As a reminder, criminal proceedings were initiated against Gagik Tsarukyan last month on charges of large-scale tax evasion.
