Apple has kicked off its first product release of summer 2026 this week, introducing a new color for its Beats Solo Buds earbuds.
Beats Solo Buds are now available in an orange variant at Best Buy stores in the U.S., and will also be accessible at 7-Eleven stores in Japan starting July 4.
Apple had previously offered orange Solo Buds in India in October 2024, as a complimentary gift with the purchase of an iPhone 15 or iPhone 15 Plus, in celebration of Diwali. The limited-edition earbuds offered in India featured purple Beats "b" logos, while the new ones come with red "b" logos.
Beats Solo Buds were first released in June 2024 in Matte Black, Storm Gray, and Transparent Red, along with Arctic Purple, which was exclusive to Apple and Target. Last year, another retailer-exclusive Ivory color emerged.
Solo Buds are Beats' entry-level product, with a regular price of $79.99 in the U.S. The earbuds boast up to 18 hours of battery life but lack active noise cancellation, and the charging case does not have its own battery. Consequently, the earbuds can only be charged when the case is connected to a wired power source.
