Britney Spears has once again found herself in the spotlight. On July 9, the singer was seen popping out of a car's sunroof while traveling on a busy Los Angeles highway.
She was in a black Mercedes SUV, which was moving at a speed of 72 km/h. Spears remained standing in the sunroof for about two minutes with her arms raised. According to the Daily Mail, she was returning home from Thousand Oaks at the time.
After the car pulled off the road, the singer calmly chatted with the driver at a gas station before entering a store. One of the singer's associates explained that Britney has loved doing that since she was a child.
It is worth recalling that Spears was arrested on March 4. Alcohol and banned substances were found in her system. Following that, she completed a treatment course at a rehabilitation center.
According to sources, the singer is now healthy and in good spirits. She continues to receive counseling remotely.
In May, Spears pleaded no contest in court to reckless driving. She avoided jail time. Previously, the singer had also reported that she was a victim of theft.
