The Pentagon had previously stated that expenses would amount to about $30 billion. However, sources indicate that actual estimates reach between $80 billion and $100 billion.
U.S. officials and individuals familiar with these estimates assert that the cost of a potential conflict with Iran will triple, significantly exceeding the initial official projection of $30 billion.
