168.am — The rental market in Armenia is gaining momentum as a new influx of Russian nationals has been recorded, reaching figures comparable to those of 2022. Real estate agents in Yerevan note that rental prices have increased by approximately 30% over the past few months.
The situation in the real estate market has shifted; while clients were previously mostly people already settled in Yerevan, the picture is now entirely different. Currently, 80% of agents' clients consist of Russian citizens who have either just arrived in Armenia or are only now planning to relocate.
This new wave of demand began after the May holidays and continues to grow, leading to increased pressure on the market. Experts note that a significant portion of clients has already started searching for apartments for late August and September, which points to further activity ahead.
