Analitik.am — The Anti-Corruption Committee has detained former Head of the State Property Management Department and former Republican Party MP Arman Sahakyan, along with a group of other former high-ranking officials. The individuals were detained within the framework of a criminal case under investigation by the Committee and are suspected of committing various criminal acts under the Criminal Code of Armenia. However, citing the interests of the preliminary investigation, law enforcement agencies have not yet released further details.
It has been reported that Arman Sahakyan and former Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Artem Asatryan were released after some time. Bail has been set as a preventive measure, and a travel ban has been imposed on them.
