Tesla Unveils Starlink-Equipped Cybercab: 4K Movies and Videos on the Go

Elon Musk has announced that Tesla Cybercab robotaxis will feature integrated Starlink satellite internet. This means passengers will be able to do more than just travel—they can also relax or work while on the road.

Passengers are expected to be able to watch sports matches, movies, and TV shows in 4K quality, as well as play games and complete work tasks. Thus, the autonomous robotaxi is gradually turning into a full-fledged mobile space designed for both leisure and work.

Musk has already published photos of the first Cybercab equipped with Starlink hardware, featuring the vehicle in a gold hue. The combination of satellite internet and Tesla's autonomous driving system will significantly expand the capabilities of these vehicles.

Earlier, Elon Musk stated that the Starlink system will eventually be installed in all of the company's vehicles.

Integrating satellite internet into robotaxis demonstrates how Tesla is trying to redefine the very concept of the automobile. Once the need for a human driver is eliminated, the cabin naturally transforms into an entertainment or work zone where seamless connectivity is a primary requirement.

This move is also a clear example of complementary collaboration between two of Musk's largest projects. How effectively the system will perform in densely populated urban environments or indoors will become clear only during mass operation.
