Multi Wellness, a company owned by Gagik Tsarukyan, has filed a lawsuit against the Cadastre Committee seeking to invalidate a decision on terminating rights and transferring property to the jurisdiction of the Yerevan Municipality, which has sparked significant public reaction as the case concerns a well-known address in the capital.
The Administrative Court has already accepted the filed lawsuit for proceedings, demanding that the respondent submit all cadastral materials related to the real estate at 11 Alex Manoogian Street in full within a set two-week period, which will allow for an understanding of the legal details of the transaction.
The next court hearing has been scheduled for February 16 of next year, while on August 5 the same company had also filed a separate lawsuit against the Yerevan Municipality demanding the annulment of the decision to unilaterally suspend the transaction.
This legal dispute directly demonstrates the existing tension between big business and state bodies, which occasionally reaches the court. The process may be prolonged as the parties present mutually exclusive demands.
