The option to pay fares using Apple Pay and Google Pay has been launched across Armenia's public transport system.
Passengers can now simply tap their smartphone or smartwatch featuring a digital wallet against the terminal; a physical bank card is no longer required.
The new payment method is already available on public transport vehicles equipped with the necessary terminals.
This is another step toward developing a modern and convenient cashless payment system in Armenia.
