Iran Issues Warning: Cooperation with the U.S. Endangers the Region

Tehran has issued a stern warning to countries in the Persian Gulf. Ebrahim Zolfaghari, a representative of the Iranian Armed Forces, stated that any cooperation with the United States poses a threat to their country's security.

The Iranian side will view such actions as an infringement on its sovereignty. According to Zolfaghari, providing logistical support to the U.S. could incite war across all countries in the region. He emphasized that it is the cooperation of neighboring states that increases the risk of the conflict spreading.

Tensions escalated between July 8 and 13. The U.S. launched strikes on Iranian territory, citing them as a response to an Iranian attack in the Strait of Hormuz. In turn, Iran attacked U.S. facilities deployed in the Middle East.

Bahrain, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, and Qatar reported that they had repelled Iranian aerial attacks.
