Apple is preparing to launch an updated iPad mini tablet in October, Interfax reports. According to Bloomberg, this model will feature an OLED display for the first time, a technology that ensures higher image quality.
Apple already utilizes such screens in its iPhones and iPad Pro models. The company is also working on new versions of the standard iPad and iPad Air.
The update for the base iPad is expected in early 2027 and will include a faster processor. The iPad Air will once again be released in 11-inch and 13-inch versions. These models, like the new iPad Pros, are scheduled for release in the fall.
Over the last two quarters, iPad sales have exceeded market forecasts. Sales are expected to grow by 6 percent in the current fiscal year, reaching approximately $30 billion.
Apple's stock price rose by 0.8 percent on Thursday. Since the beginning of the year, shares have increased in value by 21.4 percent.
