135 children evacuated from kindergarten in Kaghcrashen after 5 snakes found

At around 10:00 a.m. on September 16, an evacuation was carried out at a kindergarten in Kaghcrashen settlement of Artashat enlarged community, Ararat Province. The reason was snakes found on the kindergarten premises.

Kindergarten staff and children spotted 5 snakes, after which an evacuation was quickly organized. Following this, kindergarten director Lusine Galstyan alerted the Ararat Provincial Rescue Department, and rescuers arrived at the scene to search for the snakes.

The kindergarten is attended by 135 children. Following the evacuation, there is no danger to the lives of the staff and children, while rescuers continue searching the kindergarten for the snakes that were found.

At this stage of the incident, the most important fact is the safety of the children and staff: the evacuation was organized after the snakes were spotted, while rescuers arrived to inspect the area and locate the animals. This also shows that in such a situation, the kindergarten's normal operations were immediately suspended until the safety of the premises could be determined.

Particular attention should be paid to the fact that this is a kindergarten attended by a large number of children, which is why a full inspection of the premises is practically important. According to the information currently available, there is no danger to the lives of the children and staff, while work related to the incident is continuing on the kindergarten premises.
