Armenian Goods to Head to Azerbaijan in Coming Days, Mirzoyan Says

1 Min Read

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan has announced that in the coming days, goods from Armenia will be shipped to Azerbaijan, following purchases already made by Azerbaijani companies from Armenian partners.

He clarified that the process is now set to become bilateral, meaning that not only will Azerbaijan be buying Armenian products, but the Armenian side will also be making sales in the Azerbaijani market.

The minister noted that this is an important step toward developing economic relations, and practical progress is already visible.

The decision directly affects not only trade flows but also the atmosphere of trust between the two countries, as economic contacts that had been restricted for many years are now taking on a regular character.

It is important to understand that the start of bilateral trade in itself indicates that the sides are ready to practically solidify their agreements, although many issues remain regarding customs, logistics, and legal regulation. The coming weeks will show how quickly these mechanisms are set in motion and whether such steps will later expand to other areas.
